First Bath At Grandmas

The kids were home this past week-end to help celebrate the Easter holiday. Miss Reaghan is now 5 weeks old and growing like a weed. She stays awake longer and has started to coo and tell stories... It is the cutest thing. I was also albe to feed her for the first time ( mom is breast feeding - but has starting to make bottles being she will be going back to work soon) .. that was a very special moment. Miss Reaghan also had her first bath while here. She truely loves her bath time.. did not fuse not even once...

Reaghan is 1 month

Miss Reaghan is 1 month old already.. I am not sure where this past month has gone. I am sure her mamma is wondering the same thing.....But yet when we were waiting for her to arrive the last month took forever. And now that she is finally here, the time is just flying by. And if it is possible - she seriously gets cuter everyday!! Love you my little miss.

Baby B Has Finally Arrived...

I would like you to meet Miss Reaghan Leigh Bournoville, She arrived on March 3rd, 2012, @ 2:10 am. She weighed 8 lbs, 10 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She has already stolen grandma's heart...

Baby B

Well to date baby b continues to brew.. Miranda is at 37 weeks.. or more exact 18 days to go... And the mom to be is still glowing and the most beautiful pregnant lady I have ever seen.....I love you baby girl!!!

Son In Law...

While us girls were at the baby shower, my husband took "the boys" my son-in-law Nathan, and my daughter Chantel's boyfriend- Zach ice fishing... Well needless to say Mr. Nathan got a real wall hanger.... for sure the 2nd great catch of his life.. (the 1st, my daughter of course... ) Good job Nate!!!!

The Baby Shower.....

This past week-end we held the baby shower for Miranda.. It was a lot of work but, also a ton of fun! There was an awesome turn out of people and Mommie and baby received a ton of great gifts.. We barely got the gifts all in her car for the trip back to GB. Down to 6 weeks and counting...

Christmas Beauty

Each year at Christmas I love buying a Poinsettia, not only is it a beautiful plant- but I love the deep red color, and than how the red cascades into the green... Beautiful!!!

Second Tree

I have not put up a second tree in my house since my girls were small.. they are now 26 and 24. So this year, I thought why not. So to go along with my "rescue tree" theme... the second one I put up I consider my "charlie brown tree" just jazzed up a bit...

12 weeks and counting...

Baby B continues to grow and the mama to "be" is glowing and doing great.. It is so hard to believe that in 12 weeks give or take.. I will get to meet my grandbaby!! I cant wait!!!!

Our Resue Tree

We went tree shopping this week-end... first to one tree farm- no luck! Off to the next one...searchhing - searching - searching and than the "one"

than we got it home.. can you say ugly!! Not sure what happened I thought it looked nice out in the field.... but when we got it in.. not so much.. guess are eyes were frozen or somthing....

but than my wonderful daughter Chantel and her boyfriend Zach did all the decorating from lights to the tinsel and it turned out beautiful!!! Guess all it needed was alot of love and attention.. hence "our resue tree"

While out looking for the perfect tree today we came across this... Gods hands at work- truely beautiful!!!!

Winter Wonderland...

Last night we received our first official accumulating snow fall.Well, actually it started snowing about noon on Saturday, but it really did not seem to stick until later. And the snow flakes were big- And it was beautiful!! I took some photos last night in 2 hour increments and again this morning. To me, our home looks like the perfect Christmas card....
The first photo is from about 5:30, the second from about 7;30, and the last one about 9:30. And then the Badger game got way too good so I did not take anymore....And the last one: was first thing this morning.. the sun was not even up - and before the lights went out for an hour.....Yes and hour.. when I was on my second pot of coffee and had my second batch of cookies in the oven.. I guess it could of been worse....

Exciting News...

So,my daughter tells me the other day that I really need to update my blog. And she is right. I do not update nearly as much as I would like.. but also feel my life is kinda boring, nor am I a good story teller. But when I have something to share- I like to post it. So, with that being said.. I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA, HOW EXCITING IS THAT!!! The baby is due March 5th 2012, but all of us past moms know they come when they are ready and not the date they are told too. The soon to be parents were all up for finding out the gender at first( me not a fan) but than decided to wait ( big fan). So, we have been busy planning for this baby. Last week-end I went to Green Bay to paint the babies room- it turned out so cute.. We did green, yellow and blue.. cant get much more neutral than that. Getting ready for the holidays...

Today was a beautiful day, so the hubby and I hit the woods to find some boughs and berry branches... Let me rephase this.. I wanted to find boughs and berry branches, the hubby- he wanted to put up a deer stand and check his deer cam before the big hunt coming up this next week-end. But he was a great help and I got to spend some time in the woods and get some fresh air. Below are just a few of the things I put together so far.. hope to to a couple more...but this was all i had time for. Because we also put up the christmas lights too.. so I had to help with that too.. starting to look alot like Christmas....

New Dew

For anyone who knows me I do not keep a hair style for long... and this week it was time. I went from med long.. to very short. A great new look for the summer. Thank you miss Brandi- I love it!!!

Been Busy.....

I know I have not updated in awhile.. but I tell you I have been busy... my latest project, planting flowers and plants, and adding new flower beds. Plus we have put in a garden again this year. So I will be busy. Hope to find lot of time to go camping... the only time we have gone so far is Memorial week-end. And it was wonderful. But for today I will share my flower beds... Most of the plants you see I got my from my very best friend C, and some from my wonderful neighbor E. And some I got from my plants and I spilt them... It has been alot of work but the end result... I LOVE IT!!

Signs of Spring...

Thought I would take a walk tonight and see if I could find any signs of spring. Well I did, snow banks are disappearing, water is running, kill deer are making nests, the mama robins are chirping in the trees, and the trees are budding. SPRING is on the way!!!

Basket Making.

This past week-end I hosted a basket making class. How did I get rigged into that you ask? Well, back in Feb. when we had our Women's week-end, one of the classes that were offered was basket making. The year prior I had saw these basket and feel in love. So this year I couldn't wait to make one. And when I showed the rest of my group my treasure they too loved it, hence the basket making class. I think everyone had a good time!!! I really feel I did much better the 2ND time around. My first basket is the square one, and the round one is my 2ND attempt. Other photos are just from the day...
